Join Us In Chicago!!

In January, I posted about the upcoming Empowered to Connect Conference in Chicago on April 19-20th. We would love to have all of you join us for this wonderful weekend! If you are unfamiliar with Empowered to Connect, it is a great parenting tool for those parenting both biological and adopted children led by Dr. Karyn Purvis. If there is one educational tool I would want all of our families to have in their toolbox, it would be to attend this conference!

If you are interested in attending, the early bird registration expires next Tuesday, February 19th, so be sure to hurry and register. The website to register is: http://www.showhope.org/AdoptionAid/PrePostAdoption/ETCConferenceChicago.aspx?ref=ebtn.

I have taken time to research the local hotels. The best deal while still being a very nice hotel is the Hyatt. Their website is: http://chicagohoffmanestates.place.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels-chicagohoffmanestates-place/place/index.jsp?null.

Maria and Dayna will both be attending, and we would love to have you join us! If you are interested in carpooling up there with us, just contact us at adopt@icmfamily.org.

Lastly, we are hoping to get all of our families together for dinner on Friday evening. This will be a great time to just fellowship and build relationships with other adoptive families. More information on that will come as we get closer to the date of the conference.

So please let us know if you are going, so we can all be on the same page. We really hope that you get to make it! Meanwhile, here is a taste of what is to come:
